30-year Mt. Calvary Lutheran member, supporter dies at 94

Kermit Edwin Wessler, a mainstay at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Brentwood for more than 60 years, died at age 94 on Nov. 25, according to Bopp Chapel, in Kirkwood.

He served as various officers and committee chairs for Mt. Calvary Lutheran, and was on the board of directors of Lutheran Senior Services for more than 30 years.

Wessler started his HAVC career in 1939 and with partners, started Bel-Aire Heating and Cooling in 1965. He was an active member of HAVC Contractors Association.

Wessler was the husband of the late Corine K. Wessler (nee Schemmer) for 61 years.
