Saturday was the DEA National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, and more than 50 people dropped off almost 100 pounds of unused, expired and unwanted prescription drugs at the Brentwood Police Department, according to the departments website.

Maplewood Police Department was also a drop-off spot, and also collected close to 100 pounds of unwanted prescription drugs.

Representatives of the DEA picked up the old drugs, which were incinerated that day.

The Brentwood police department thanks officers Dan Retzlaff and Jason Simpson for their help.

  1. That is really scary that someone believes that corruption can run that deep. I do not support Obama, but I really do not believe his administration would do such a ridiculous thing.

  2. I trust Brentwood—but not the Obama administration. I can see these being re-distributed or sold on the streets after his administration “loses” them in transportation.

    • Mary – just in case you didn’t realize this already – you come across as rather out to lunch in your non-sequitur of a comment. It never ceases to amaze me the conspiratorial stuff that runs through peoples’ minds. That they will post it online (and presumably under their own names to boot) is even more bizarre.
