The Mid-County Veterans Memorial, on the grounds of The Heights (8001 Dale Avenue, in Richmond Heights), was dedicated on Nov. 10, 2013.
The Veterans Memorial Committee committed to raising the remaining $100,000 to pay for the memorial’s construction, and is at 80 percent of their goal.
The group is planning a golf tourney and benefit auction on May 6 at the Forest Park Golf Course. Call 314-884-7527 with any auction donations.
