Mike McLaughlin, owner of The Crow’s Nest opened Blind Tiger with Mike Jones, owner of Encapsulated Studios and Kelly Jurotich, owner Crimson Petal, in Webster Groves. Blind Tiger opened in December.

“We have a little bit of experience in a lot of things, so hopefully we can use use this space to do that and stay here for a while,” McLaughlin said.

He said Blind Tiger was originally planned as mostly an event space, but they developed a pizza menu and whiskey bar that’s worked out well so far.

“It’s artisan pizza; it’s all made from scratch, including the sausage,” McLaughlin said. “Basically sauce, crust, everything is made in-house, and we’ve done a few twists on ribs and wings as well.”

The four pizzas on the menu are the Garden of Eatin’, the Soldier of Four-Cheese, the American Nightmare and the Hog Mess.

Blind Tiger is open for dinner Monday through Saturday unless an event takes up the whole space. They already have events booked once a month through the year.
