Brentwood Chief of Police Dan Fitzgerald made these posts on his informational department website, The Chief’s Desk. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

  • At 12:46 p.m. police responded to a business in the 8000 block of Litzsinger Rd for a theft report.  Scrap metal was taken from the property.
  • At 11:03 p.m. officers were called to the parking lot of the Brentwood Promenade for a reported theft from a vehicle. Various items were taken from the trunk of the car. The vehicle door lock had been punched.
  • At 3:55 p.m. police responded to a business in the 8400 block of Eager Road for a theft report. A 33-year-old man was arrested for stealing. He had taken food.
  • At 5 p.m. police were called to the 8500 block of Eager Road for a theft report. The victim said her purse was taken while she was working.

Chief Fitzgerald also reports that the department’s two new Ford Taurus police cars will hit the streets this week.
