Brentwood football, MRH soccer wins, and more in the news

In the news this week: Brentwood and Maplewood Richmond Heights teams advanced in the post season. Maplewood officials voted to allow a church kitchen to be used by food truck operators, and the Municipal League used Maplewood City Hall for a meeting.

Brentwood football beat Tolton Catholic at Brentwood on Friday in the Class 2 District 5 semifinals, 42-18. See photos on Facebook. The Eagles play Hermann in the district final at Brentwood on Friday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m.

Blue Devils soccer defeated Saxony Lutheran on Saturday at MRH in the state quarterfinal game, 3-0. See photos on Facebook. MRH plays Sacred Heart in the semifinal game at World Wide Technology Soccer Park in Fenton, Friday, Nov. 4, at 4 p.m.
