The Brentwood Optimist Club tree lot next to Gene Del Printing, at 9019 Manchester Road, is well-stocked for another season. All proceeds go to promoting area youth organizations, including scholarships to selected Brentwood High School students.
The tree lot has been there since the early 1980s, according to members in the trailer at the lot Thursday. Before that it was next door, before Gene Del Printing was built.
The building to the east, that housed the previous Brentwood Lanes, is for sale, and the members hoped that the new owner allows them to keep the tree lot.
