Third year Brentwood head volleyball coach, Whitney Ralph, feels good about this year’s group. She’s got five returning seniors, four juniors and “some pieces from the JV level that will be pretty influential.”
Ralph named Danni Coates (outside last year), Emily Connor (middle last year) and Lydia Dorenbusch (center last year) as returning team leaders.
She said both varsity and JV squads will be “pretty solid this year.”
The Eagles have Maplewood Richmond Heights at home for the first game of the year.
“Should get them going right off the bat with an exciting match,” she said. “I know all the girls are looking forward to that.”
