Richmond Heights elects new mayor

With all votes in, challenger Jim Thomson defeated incumbent mayor, James Beck 1,076 – 972 votes.

With all votes in, in District 1, Joan Provanznik took 51 percent of the vote, Mark Mueller had 26 and Greg Vescovo had 22.

District 2 councilman, Ron Vilcek defended his seat against challenger Derek Bolden, taking 72 percent.

In District 3 Megan Moylan ran unopposed.

In District 4 Danny Hebenstreit took 52 percent of the vote over Charles Connors.

  1. Jim Thomson had a campaign handout flyer at the voting table where I voted. (VFW on Big bend). Isn’t that illegal?

  2. I do not live in Richmond Heights but congratulate Jim Thomson. I am assuming it is the same Mr. Thomson who was a principal in SLPS years ago. Am I correct?

    You state Charles Conner defeated Danny Hebenstreit by 57%, however St. Louis County and your screen shot show Mr. Hebenstreit winning by 51.85%. Am I missing something?
