The Maplewood Chamber of Commerce (approved by the members to be the Mid-County Chamber of Commerce) has announced its 2016 recipients of the Business Person of the Year and Citizen of the Year awards.
They’ll be honored at the chamber’s annual dinner and auction on October 14 at Majorette, 7150 Manchester Avenue. This year’s theme is “Maplewood and Richmond Heights — A Winning Pair.”
Maplewood recipients
- Paul Barker, owner of Premier Insurance Source, 2016 Citizen of the Year
- Jean Cowell, co-owner of Cowell Engineering, 2016 Business Person of the Year
Richmond Heights recipients
- James Beck, former mayor of Richmond Heights, 2016 Citizen of the Year
- Katrie Spink, Richmond Terrace Senior Living Counselor, 2016 Business Person of the Year
The 2016 Educator of the Year is yet to be announced.
