Richmond Heights public works director, Chris Boyd, reported at the city council meeting Monday that St. Louis County is planning to resurface significant parts of S. Big Bend Boulevard and Clayton Road.
Clayton Road is set to be resurfaced from Louwen Drive to the St. Louis City limits. The schedule: Concrete work and signal upgrades from Sept. 2018 to May 2019, asphalt overlay in June 2019. No lane closures will be allowed between Louwen Drive and Hanley Road between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
S. Big Bend Boulevard will be improved from Manchester Road to Delmar Boulevard. The schedule: Bid in summer 2019, concrete work and signal upgrades in fall 2019 to summer 2020, asphalt overlay in summer 2020.
Clayton road is LONG over due. It’s a disgrace
