  1. Folks can you just give the guy the opportunity to do his job!? Trump won. Period. The news media today just blows everything out of perspective. You just can’t please everyone in today’s world.

    • He has already started his job and he’s already doing a terrible job. Clearly you will be letting him off the hook no matter how terrible he is. We will continue to call out his terrible and dangerous actions. Probably you should just get used to it.

    • YES! Thanks for the well wishes!! And it WILL BE 100% Better and more promising than what we had with Obama and all the Political Corruptness and nightmares with Healthcare and everything else we have had with him!

      • How can you be so blase about millions of people (myself and family included) threatened with losing the healthcare coverage we have under Obamacare?

        • I don’t think Marie is being blasé. Trump has said he will either amend or repeal and replace Obamacare with a different (more affordable) program. Please don’t give into the scare tactics the media and other Trump haters spew. I encourage you to do additional research on this topic.

          • Is it “scare tactics” when Trump says he’s smart enough to not read the Presidential Daily Briefings? Remember, in Aug. ’01 Bush read but did not heed “Bin Laden determined to attack US”. Trump isn’t even going to read the PDB, let alone give any credence to it.

  2. What’s more annoying, whining liberals or gloating conservatives?
This IS important local news regardless of political affiliation.

  3. People chastised Trump for not agreeing to accept the results of the election outcome. Now those same people can’t accept the outcome of the election. I say, grow up and get over it. Move on and quit “whining “.

  4. Everyone needs to get over this and move on with your lives. Trump is our next president. Now back to our local news this site is well known for. No politics please.

  5. I am still numb when I think that so many people voted for someone who has been a sleazeball from day one. No words…

  6. I don’t see how Clinton lost in Missouri. I voted for her 10 times in each precinct. Thay should start voting in July. That way I can get more names from graveyard and vote 20 times in each precinct. Got to get ready for Chelsea !!

  7. Fair enough… But was it necessary for the Facebook article citing these same statistics to mention that the only district in Brentwood, Richmond heights and maplewood that the majority voted for trump is surrounded by stone towers???? Why is that pertinent to reporting the statistics as they stand?

  8. Someone on the south 40 news staff is having an extremely hard time getting over the fact that HRC lost, aren’t they? Get over it and get on with reporting our local news.

    • Missouri’s Board of State Canvassers announced the official results yesterday, December 12. All of the precincts’ results stated above are within 40SouthNews’ zone of readership. Therefore, this story is a report of local news.
