The 18th annual Tri-City Garage Sale is Saturday, October 1, and a Richmond Heights couple plans to use it to raise money for an adoption.
Becki and Thad Nieman of Richmond Heights are waiting to be matched with a birth mom, which could happen at any time, they say on their adoption fundraising website.
“We’ve saved a large chunk of money and also obtained a home equity loan but we are still $15,000 short of what we need to bring a baby home,” they say.
They live near Dale and Bredell avenues, close to The Heights. They’ll have hot coffee, furniture, clothes and miscellaneous items.
