Eagles’ Bradley Jones featured, Districts next week

Brentwood senior infielder/pitcher, Bradley Jones led the Eagles to a 4-0 week in the beginning of the month, going 6-for-12 with a home run, two doubles, five RBI and eight runs scored, earning the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Athlete of the Week award.

He also pitched 6 1-3 innings, allowing just two hits and one earned run, while striking out 12, improving his record to 5-0, according to the Post-Dispatch. See the full article in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The Eagles and MRH Blue Devils begin district playoffs Monday, May 18, at Hancock. The winners of those games play the next day for the district championship, also at Hancock. Brentwood (13-3) is the top seed, MRH (11-9) is the number two seed in the tournament.

It will be the first time all season that Brentwood plays MRH if they meet in the championship game.
