Missouri’s caves, shelters, & rock outcrops still display traces of the symbols and stories of prehistoric American Indians.
Dr. Diaz-Granados has documented over 150 petroglyphs and pictographs left by Missouri’s early American Indian populations.
She will share her interpretations of these designs that include human figures, animals, and abstract designs.
Carol Diaz-Granados has taught Anthropology, Archaeology, & American Indian studies at the university level for 34 years.
