    Trying to perfect your home garden to the Better Homes and Gardens ideal? What causes the brown spots on peony leaves; how do you deal with them? How do mites, slugs, fungal, viral, bacterial agents damage garden plants? What environmental conditions cause plants to fail?

    It is frustrating to do all of the right things and then find insects and plant diseases challenging your best attempts. Learn about common garden pests and diseases and how to manage them using safe, sustainable tactics. We will also explore remedies to plant problems using Integrated Pest Management where appropriate. Presented by Carol Gravens, a St. Louis Advanced Level Master Gardener and Master Naturalist. Carol gives talks and classes on orchids to various groups in the community and at Missouri Botanical Garden as part of the Master Gardener Speakers’ Bureau, as well as, other classes on a variety of topics related to plants.
