Local author Eileen P. Duggan signs her new novel, The Not-Ready-for-Juilliard Players, and talks about the connections between music and writers. The literary musical mystery tells the story of four music majors at a community college where a manipulative professor tries to spin average students into late-blooming prodigies. The four friends resurrect their past a decade later when the professor is murdered.
Eileen, a lifelong St. Louisan, is a freelance writer, editor, journalist, piano teacher and dabbler in other trades too numerous to mention. A former editor of the West End Word, she has written for several St. Louis-based and national publications.
