The first first move-ins have begun for the first phase of Evo (the former location of Manhassett Village apartments), a four-phase new-construction rental development that will ultimately bring more than 800 luxury apartments to Richmond Heights, according to a release from owner/developer Draper and Kramer.
Evo’s first phase features a four-story apartment complex with 281 units, including studio, one- and two-bedroom residences, with rents starting at $1,100. First move-ins began earlier this fall.
Floor plans measure 572 to 1,210 square feet.

I’m selling my condo in Brentwood Forest on Eager Road if anyone is interested. Eager Road is becoming a nightmare since this started to rent along with the elderly care center which also just opened. Eager was not built to handle this traffic.

Everyone MUST wonder where the traffic will go. Eager Road is 2 lanes, one lane in each direction. 800 units means 800 to 1200 cars on this narrow road. Authorities can not take the parking spaces on the south side and will they take the north side of the road if it needs to be widened? How did the Hts permit this to occur? Could it be because those people don’t have to fight this problem and they don’t live here and will get LOTS of revenue from taxes, etc here? Everyone MUST wonder? ? ? ? ?
I just read their website. Where is the running trail in mother nature?
What I find simply amazing is that the one Brentwood Alderman, Tom Kramer, who fought tooth and nail against this project coincidently owns numerous rentals next door in Brentwood Forest and these new units will present competition for him.

40Southnews does not raise questions about a possible conflict of interest and abuse of power. Yet when a handful of trees get cut down it becomes the scandal of the century. 40South’s biases towards our elected officials is alarming.

Doug you are 100% right. Tom Kramer was looking out for the safety of the Brentwood Forest residents of which we are very grateful for his concerns.
