Antar Thompson, a Maplewood Richmond Heights defensive lineman who graduated in 2013 — originally with a commitment to play at Missouri — ended up at Highland Community College in Kansas. Thompson announced on Twitter on Monday that he received a scholarship offer from Southeast Missouri State University.
The MRH school board voted to put the football program on hold after the 2014 season due to lack of players. There’s been no word it will be back for 2016.
