I am so honored to fill the vacant seat and serve the citizens of Maplewood. I am excited to work with the mayor, the council, the city, the police and fire departments, the school board, the citizens the business owners, and community organizations to continue to help Maplewood grow and change in a way that benefits all of its citizens.

I also want to thank Kristen and Steve. I couldn’t imagine two people more passionate about Maplewood with whom to engage in this process. We share much of the same vision for Maplewood and I look forward to getting their valuable input and working with them on the issues that matter most to them.

Finally, I want to thank all of those who have supported me and given up their free time to help me in this process. This was a team effort made up of so many individuals both inside and outside of our community who care deeply about their neighbors and who understand that local change can have the greatest impact. I am so encouraged by the sense of community and caring I have seen through this process and I cannot wait to get started!

Sincerely,
Jenny Schmidt
