Kids around Walter Avenue in Maplewood kept up the July 4th tradition this year, dressing themselves and their bikes in red, white and blue for a parade. Doug Houser took the photos.

Also on the morning of July 4, in downtown St. Louis the driver of the giant Schnucks shopping cart was asking for directions to Maplewood. In the end of August, Schnucks is set to open a new store where Shop ‘n Save moved out.
Good job kids! We live on Walter, but only have fur-babies.
now that is the size of a parade that I would like to see. Will have to put it on the calendar for next year. Love the local connection.
