Maplewood’s Larder & Cupboard, at 7310 Manchester Road, which specializes in locally produced food and drink last week received national recognition.
Larder & Cupboard received a 2018 Good Food Award for its Strawberry Lemon Verbena Preserves and Apricot Lemon Thyme Preserves in San Fransisco last week.
The 199 winners were chosen from over 2,000 entrants for their “vibrant, delicious, sustainable local food economies.”
The winners were announced at the San Fransisco War Memorial Herbst Theater on January 19.
Kakao Chocolate won the award in 2015 for its Turkish coffee truffle and in 2014 for its lavender truffle.
