According to court and police records, Gregory Hickman, 42, of St. Louis, was charged with a third stealing offense.

On Nov. 21, 2016, at the Brentwood Schnucks, Hickman selected six bottles of vodka and placed them in a shopping basket.

He carried the basket out of the store without making any attempt to pay for the vodka, and drove away in a gold Cadillac. A store manager obtained the license plate number. Hickman was identified by the registered owner of the car (his brother) and was further identified from a photo lineup by the manger who saw him carry the bottles out of the store. He is being held on $10,000 bond.
