Maplewood resident and artist Bill Perry has opened a exhibit of life-size portraits of immigrant women living in St. Louis. The portraits celebrate the women’s “fortitude, ambition, dedication and resilience,” Perry says. It took him two years to complete the work.

The exhibit runs through April 23 at the Intersect Arts Center, 3636 Texas Avenue, St. Louis.

  1. I know Bill a bit and knew he did artwork. I did not know he did this type of work. They paintings are beautiful and I hope to get to the exhibit and take a look at them. Thanks Bill for taking the time to show us some of our neighbors and capturing them on canvas.
