Mid-term election results certified; almost 78 percent turnout in Hadley Township

The election results from the Nov. 6 election have been certified and are posted on the St. Louis County website.

In Hadley Township, which incorporates Maplewood and Richmond Heights, 77.63 percent of registered voters turned out to vote in the mid-term election — just slightly under the 78.86 percent that voted in the 2016 presidential election.

In losing efforts statewide, in Hadley Township, Clare McCaskill (D) won 76 percent over Josh Hawley (R) for US Senator and Cort Van Ostran (D) won 61 percent over Ann Wagner (R) for US Representative Dist. 2.

Gina Mitten (D) won 79 percent of the vote over Andrew Bolin (L) for State Representative Dist. 83. Also, yes votes on Proposition B (minimum wage) got 80 percent of the vote, and yes votes for Charter Amendment 1 (campaign contribution limits) took 83 percent.
