MRH, Brentwood take 2nd, 3rd in wrestling tourney

Maplewood Richmond Heights and Brentwood High School wrestlers took runner-up and third, respectively, at the Vianney wrestling tournament on Saturday.

For MRH, Ronald Stewart (120), Kar`Mel Brewer (126), Romelle Person (132), Trey Williams (138) and Matt Green (145) all took first place in their class. Person won his 133rd match, extending his record career wins for MRH. The previous record was 128. See also: MRH wrestler breaks school record

Vianney won the tournament with 127.5 team points; MRH (2) 116; Brentwood (3) 105.5.
