MRH seeks info to help provide meals for non-MRH students

The Maplewood Richmond Heights School District is committed to serving nourishing, quality meals to ALL children, including non-MRH students, 18 and under during the school year, according to a representative.

The school district is currently gathering information to help prepare for an upcoming change in meal distribution. The goal is to provide a separate meal distribution time specifically for families that are not participating in the MRH on-campus learning.

This includes, but is not limited to, MRH semester-long virtual learning students, families with preschool children, and siblings that do not attend MRH.

  1. This is great, I’m so glad the help is being made available to other brothers and sisters in the family. I remember as a child my mother (a widow with 7 kids) had a difficult time providing meals. We didn’t go hungry, but, I remember eating at a friends house and being amazed that each person got a pork chop instead of them all chopped up, in a casserole. Thank you so much, so many pantry’s have closed because of distancing for their workers, as well as many other reasons.
