Six MRH girls participated in the Webster Groves Softball Showcase Game on Saturday. The event celebrates softball in the area. Each team in the league selects three girls — selected by the players — to represent them. The players are selected on hustle, sportsmanship, improvement, enthusiasm and skill.

MRH has had a growing interest in softball the last few years, Watkins says, also that a lot of parents would like to see MRH offer softball at the high school level. The MRH Showcase participants, below.

  1. MRH definitely should have a softball team–there is enough demand for both sports and our students deserve it.
