Nurse was carjacking victim in Richmond Heights

Richmond Heights Police reported in a press release that a nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital was the victim of a carjacking Tuesday evening. She was not injured.

The press release:

At about 7:40pm Richmond Heights officers were dispatched to a carjacking on the parking lot off the east side of Bellevue just south of Clayton Rd.

The female victim, a nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital, was loading her work bags into the rear seat of her vehicle when a suspect approached her with a handgun and demanded her car keys.

She gave him her keys and he left heading east out of the parking lot onto Bellevue. The victim was not injured.

The victim’s vehicle is a black Toyota Forerunner with a silver luggage rack and silver running boards. The Missouri license plate is KG2-A1T.

The suspect is described as a black/male wearing a gray hoodie, black jacket, black pants, as ski mask and white shoes. He appeared to be about 30 years old.

  1. It’s convenient to have your house keys on the same ring as the car key, but this is a good reason not to. If the thief finds something with your address on it in the car, he also has the door key. It is not if but when some of us will be car jacked. It’s become epidemic.
