Remembering an area World War II veteran who died earlier this year, Charles Stefanoni passed away peacefully at home Monday, April 9, 2018, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. A Mass was held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.
Stefanoni, on more than one Veterans Day, wore his Army cap with his medals. Below, he wears it on Veterans Day 2014 at The Heights.
Charlie was a good man. I enjoyed knowing him for many years.
