Sassybear, the Airedale Terrier owned by Tony and Sheri Phipps, owners of Airedale Antics pet supply store, passed on three to four weeks ago.
Sheri Phipps told 40 South that news after reading last week that Pepper, of Scheidt Hardware, owned by Bob Scheidt, had died. Phipps said a memorial has been in the shop since she passed. Sassybear was the Airedale Antics shop dog for many years.
Airedale Antics is at 7316 Manchester Road.
Oh, so sorry to read this. I have loved Sassy ever since my Sophie and I first started visiting Airedale Antics in their old location on Manchester. It will not be quite the same without her loping up to sniff me.
So sorry to hear this. I never had the pleasure of meeting Sassybear, but she looked like a very sweet dog. Such a nice picture.
Oh, so very sorry for your loss. Airedale Antics is a wonderful place and the folks there are outstanding. You are in our thoughts.
