Qdoba Mexican Grill is in the process of remodeling the former St. Louis Bread Company site, at  6701 Clayton Road, in Clayton.

Qdoba has filed an application with Clayton’s Planning & Development office to remodel the site and add a restaurant, the St. Louis Business Journal has reported.

The two storefronts to the east will be demolished to make way for a patio and parking.

St. Louis Bread Company relocated across Clayton Road to 6734 Clayton Road in Richmond Heights last year.

Proposed for the new Qdoba:

  • A 3,605-square-foot restaurant with seating for about 65
  • 1,360 square foot patio to seat about 44 people
  • Remodel the seating and decor left from St. Louis Bread Co., in part by installing furniture made from reclaimed wood

    • From the pictures, they torn down the Custom Brew Haus and Office next door, which one would assume will be to increase the parking.
