Richmond Heights police arrest car break-in suspect

Many (a Richmond Heights resident said eight) cars were broken into Monday night in Richmond Heights. On Tuesday afternoon Richmond Heights Police reported on Facebook that they had arrested a suspect.

The Facebook post:

“Overnight, while patrolling our neighborhoods, officers from the RHPD arrested a male subject in connection to numerous recent car break-ins. Charges are pending as the investigation continues. Great job to all officers involved.”

Richmond Heights Police also asked residents to remain vigilant, make sure car doors are locked and report any suspicious or unusual activity. The number listed on the department’s Facebook page is (314) 645-3000.
