A front yard on a corner in Maplewood is again full of sunflowers — nicely contained to the perimeters of the lot.
The city has made sure in past years that the residents — as they are enjoying watching goldfinches swoop from flower to flower — keep the flowers clear of the sidewalk and street.

Leave the Sunflowers!! They are a bright spot in some peoples day!

I don’t mind them as long as they don’t create a safety issue, like blocking view of signs or pedestrians getting ready to cross the street.
