Boardwalk Waffles & Ice Cream is set to open on Feb. 4 at noon, they posted Wednesday on Facebook.
Eric and Laurie Moore are opening the shop at 7326B Manchester Road. It’s between Reeds American Table and the former J&E Office City, which relocated out of Maplewood last year after 40 years at the location.
Boardwalk Waffles and Ice Cream will serve the Jersey Shore treat — ice cream (using St. Louis-made Serendipity ice cream) on hot waffles. Eric is from New Jersey.
Hey Brentwood, you reading this article? Remember when we had two ice cream stores, Velvet Freeze and Baskin Robins. BOA should be working on getting Brentwood an ice cream store.
