Danelle Kelsch, 26, of St. Louis, has been charged in a theft at the Maplewood Sam’s Club.

According to police and court records, on March 28 at 11:18 a.m. Kelsch walked past all points of sale with four bottles of Hennessy cognac and two bottles of Courvoisier cognac without trying to pay. When she was confronted at the door by a security officer she dropped her purse after a brief struggle, got into a waiting car and drove away. Kelsch was identified by her driver’s license in the purse and also from a photo lineup by the security officer. She was arrested several weeks later and confessed to the theft.
