A Maplewood business is changing hands and a new Rock Hill grocery has announced its grand opening date on Facebook.
Jimmy John’s, at 7374 Manchester Road, will change hands next week, according to employees at the shop on Thursday. They said everything will stay the same, including the staff. Rollie and Boo Conner opened the sandwich shop in Maplewood. Rollie said the shop will officially change ownership on Tuesday.
Lucky’s Market has announced on Facebook that its grand opening date is August 19. Store director Randy Greene said previously that it would open August 5. It’s at 9530 Manchester Road, at N. Rock Hill Road.
From 40 South News: “Ninety-eight percent will be natural foods or organic, but still have those little treats. It’s kind of an easier to shop version of Whole Foods,” (Greene) said. “Won’t be as intimidating to shop, and it won’t be centered around yuppie pizza. It’s really based on the fresh food aspect as opposed to the higher end aspect.”
Yea for Lucky’s!!! I’m so glad August is almost here and the 19th is right around the corner!! We are so lucky to be getting a Lucky’s!!
My family went to Lucky’s in Louisville Ky. Must say it is a pleasant place to shop.
