Food pantry running low, more residents can’t afford food; how to donate

A letter went out to Maplewood block captains to spread the word that the Immaculate Conception Church Community Food Pantry needs food. They help out low income families in the 63143 Zip Code.

With the current economic crisis more and more people can’t afford food for themselves and family, according to the letter, also: “If you have anything to spare, please consider contributing to the pantry. They are also accepting monetary donations.”

The pantry is in the back church parking lot at 2934 Marshall Avenue. Donations can be dropped off by the carport every Saturday morning at around 8 a.m.
