Maplewood Public Library will begin taking returns through its outdoor book drop today and begin conducting curbside pickup on Wednesday, June 3, after more than two months of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today is also the start date for MPL’s “Imagine Your Story” Summer Reading Program. Babies through teens are asked to log 30 minutes of reading a day. Adults should simply record the title and page count of the books they read. Reading logs are available for printout on the library website. Patrons can also request reading logs via curbside pickup once service begins or track their reading progress on any calendar to be eligible for fun prizes. Further details about related reading challenges and events can be found on our social media sites and posted on the front windows of the library.
