Monday, August, 18

  • Police arrested a 47-year-old woman on suspicion of driving while intoxicated resulting from a traffic accident investigation in the 2100 block of S. Big Bend.

Tuesday, August 19

  • Police arrested a 28-year-old man for disorderly conduct in the 2100 block of Yale.
  • Police arrested a 20-year-old woman and a 19-year-old woman for shoplifting approximately $115 in merchandise.
  • Police were dispatched to the area of Sunnen Drive and S. Hanley for a reported disturbance between a man and a woman parked in a vehicle. Witnesses said that the parties were fighting.  Police arrested a 41-year-old female for domestic assault and a 36-year-old man for disorderly conduct.

Wednesday, August 20

  • A vehicle was broken into in the 2300 block of Maplewood Commons Drive. The reporting party noticed that someone damaged a door lock on the vehicle and entered the vehicle.  No property was reported stolen.
  • A theft was reported in the 7200 block of Sarah. The reporting party said a bicycle was stolen from a storage unit inside the apartment building.
  • Police arrested a 25-year-old woman and a 23-year-old woman for shoplifting approximately $145 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • A laptop was reported stolen from a vehicle which was parked in the 2600 block of S. Hanley.

Thursday, August 21

  • Someone tried to enter a vehicle that was parked in the 7200 block of Lyndover. The suspect(s) damaged the door handle and lock of the vehicle.
  • A leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident was reported in the 2600 block of S. Big Bend.  The reporting party said a white passenger vehicle struck her vehicle and left the scene.
  • Police responded to the 2700 block of Oakland for a reported disturbance. Police made contact with a 38-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman who were arguing. The man voluntarily left the premises. No arrests were made or charges filed.
  • A leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident was reported in the 2100 block of Maplewood Commons Drive. A parked vehicle was struck. Police are reviewing video surveillance from a local business in an attempt to identify the striking vehicle.
  • Police arrested a 48-year-old man for allegedly assaulting another family member in the 3500 block of Oxford.
