Sunday, June 14

  • Police were dispatched to the 7600 block of Folk Avenue for a found bicycle. Through investigation, police located a green Next brand bicycle in the area. A neighbor canvass was conducted; however the owner of the bicycle was unable to be located.

Monday, June 15             

  • Police began the investigation for a missing adult female who lives in the 2200 block of Bellevue Avenue. The missing woman lives with both maternal parents who last saw her on the night of June 14. The missing woman was last known to be en-route to an unknown address within the city limits of Bridgeton. Numerous resources and man power were exhausted in effort to learn her whereabouts. Later, on June 15, the missing woman arrived unharmed to her residence. After speaking with her, she said she was at a friend’s house relaxing and talking about life decisions.

Wednesday, June 17

  • Police began an investigation regarding property damage to a vehicle that occurred at a Maplewood Commons business.  The victim said his vehicle was damaged while he was inside a store shopping. A driver side mirror was broken and the mirror casing was scratched. Numerous video surveillance cameras were viewed which revealed negative results.

Thursday, June 18

  • Police were dispatched to a business in the 3200 block of Laclede Station in reference to a larceny in progress. Through investigation, police were able to locate the adult male perpetrator who was in possession of various clothing items. The perpetrator was subsequently arrested for stealing under $500.

Sunday, June 21

  • Police were dispatched to a Maplewood Commons business for a larceny in progress. Following an extensive investigation, police located an adult female suspect who was in possession of approximately 30 miscellaneous stolen items totaling over $190.  The suspect was subsequently arrested for stealing under $500.
