P&Z to consider request to consolidate lots; they’re on the market

The Maplewood planning and zoning commission will consider a request to consolidate two plats on Jerome Avenue at its meeting on Sept. 6.

Home developer, Berkshire Hathaway, has for sale signs at the two addresses — 7533 and 7529 Jerome Avenue.

Owner of Treasure Aisles Antique Mall and Big Bend Antique Gallery, Dan Stevens, sold the lots in 2014.

In November 2013 Stevens requested to planning and zoning to rezone the plat from residential to arterial business so his customers could use the lot for picnics. He withdrew the request after the city and neighbors expressed concerns.
