Folks driving by the Maplewood Steak ‘n Shake Thursday night saw that it was totally dark, while everything else on the strip was lit up. There were concerns it was shut down — it’s not.
Later in the evening a sign was posted saying it was a power issue.
Friday morning around 9:40 an employee said “underground electrical problems” caused the problem last night, and the power had just returned.
