  1. I noticed the new homes West of Brentwood Blvd in the first block of White Ave are not aligned in the front. Why was this allowed? I thought alignment is a must in Brentwood. Is this called a double standard? Can I extend my home in the front yard which would put my home out of alignment with the rest of my street?

    • Nice to see another beautiful and modern new house being added to Brentwood. Older homes have their charm, but eventually they need to be replaced.

  2. The existing home is energy inefficient, may have foundation/structural issues, has zero curb appeal, needs landscaping, may have a leaky/wet/mold infested basement. The proposed home will have R30 insulation that will reduce energy waste, new HVACs that are energy efficient, new appliances that require less energy, appealing landscaping and proper grading that will reduce run off into the sewer system. There are most likely numerous, outdated, unsafe code violations in the existing home. The proposed home will be a stately addition to the corner.

  3. If the house needs more square footage- bump out the roof a little. It can be done without changing the overall look of that adorable house!

  4. Out of scale. Modest gems like the residence they want to destroy give Bwood its character. The DRB ought to reject this proposal.

  5. This does nothing for our community. People who buy these homes do not send there kids to our schools. Why do we never approve modest houses for this area. We need homes that families will move into and help grow and support the Brentwood community.

  6. they couldn’t find a dilapidated house to replace, so chose a perfectly good one to destroy instead?

    Huh.
