Great Rivers Greenway representatives held an open house on Wednesday to answer questions on the two possible routes connecting Maplewood to the River Des Peres Greenway, and also greenways eventually connecting to much more in St. Louis.
Two routes, the north (Greenwood) route, in brown below, and south (creek) route, in blue. Also, two options are being studied to cross Big Bend at either Oxford or Greenwood. See the complete information from Great Rivers Greenway here.

The north alignment (Greenwood Boulevard) has three options, including routes on the north and south side of Greenwood (options A, B and C, below).
There are two possible configurations for the south (creek) alignment. Option D includes sidewalks/shared lane markings for one segment and a trail for another segment. Option E includes a trail for the entire alignment.

Anticipated construction is 2019 – 2021.
Huge thanks to all those who came out to the Deer Creek Greenway Community Meeting & Workshop last night to provide input regarding the different options for extending the greenway to the River des Peres. We greatly appreciate your ideas and opinions! pic.twitter.com/Plxr30CVR5
