Saint Mary Magdalen Parish Council held their first annual Fall Food Festival. The Council wanted to build community in the Brentwood area. A decision was made to have a Fall Food Festival and invite food trucks to Saint Mary Magdalen.
The council advertised in many neighborhood papers and online calendars hoping to get folks from around the area to spend the evening at Saint Mary Magdalen enjoying food, music and meeting new people.
The event began at 5 p.m. with the arrival of Pie Oh My, Gioia’s, Hacienda Catering, B.J.’s Gul-licious BBQ, and M.K.’s Rolls and Wraps. People strolled the grounds trying different foods and listening to the live entertainment. The children especially enjoyed the clown who created amazing balloon hats and animals. It was a beautiful night to sit and enjoy the food and the fun family atmosphere.
Many thanks to our families, parishioners, and the community for your support of our Friday Food Truck Night! What a great way to build community and have fun while doing it. We are excited to continue this event again next year.
