Brentwood and Maplewood Richmond Heights each sent four wrestlers to the MSHSAA state tournament in Columbia. On Thursday they competed twice. Brentwood has one wrestler going on in the bracket; MRH has two continuing.
A loss in the first round sends wrestlers to wrestlebacks, which is what all eight (total) from Brentwood and MRH did. After a second loss, in wrestlebacks, a wrestler is out of the tournament. As long as a wrestler wins, he or she (there is at least one female in the tournament), will continue up the bracket.
