5 stealing charges in 3 days at Maplewood Commons

Monday, March 3

  • A cell phone was reported stolen from a Maplewood Commons business on March 3. Police are reviewing video surveillance in an effort to identify a suspect(s).
  • A 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of stealing approximately $245 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. She was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia which was discovered on her person at the time of the arrest.

Tuesday, March 4

  • A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend.  The incident occurred in the 7400 block of Lohmeyer Avenue.
  • A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • A 35-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of stealing approximately $160 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.  The suspect was wanted by multiple agencies for active warrants.  Due to her prior theft history, a warrant was subsequently issued through the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for felony stealing with a bond set at $20,000.

Wednesday, March 5

  • A 41-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of stealing merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
