The roof of the Auto Plaza Ford service area went quickly, as workers are three days into demolishing the building. Owner Dan Lesseg said the wood roof was very dry, and cracked as it was pulled down.
The QuikTrip at 3010 S Big Bend Boulevard is moving to this corner at Manchester and Big Bend.
Lesseg thought the demolition work might take more than a week. He said it normally takes six months to build a QuikTrip.
