If you heard a test of tornado sirens at 11 a.m. Monday, they came from St. Louis City, not from a Brentwood, Maplewood or Richmond Heights siren. The test could be heard from downtown Maplewood.
The county’s sirens failed, in the monthly test, according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch.
The St. Louis County emergency management office is trying to determine what happened.
